The Stars Were Indeed Aligned!!!

Mont-Tremblant ~ Friday, September 10, 10 o’clock at night!

Sky is clear and the stars are shining! A beautiful night announcing a beautiful day ! A real field of dreams!

Saturday, September 11, 8 o’clock in the morning!

Weather is perfect! Getting ready for a special day, the Drive for smiles (D4S) day of the Starlight Children’s foundation. A special day dedicated to children where passionate drivers will take them onboard their exotic cars to make them live a unique and highly emotional experience.

8:30 A.M.

Meeting at the Jim Russell race track. Volunteers are busy to make sure everything is in place. Food trucks along with supercars in aligned positions where restaurant owners and drivers are impatiently waiting for the children and their family to arrive. Breakfast is served and a photoshoot session is in process. A day where dreaming is allowed begins!

10 A.M.

Car parade and one lap around the track waving at the kids and parents. It’s magic!

10:30 A.M.

All gathered at the start line and it’s now time to take the kids on the track! More than 80 drivers are participating and ready for their mission. Volunteers are busy leading the way and seating the kids in the cars. Ready, set, go! A little lunch break and up again they go!

8 P.M.

Time has come to celebrate and wrap up this wonderful day attending dinner. A live auction performed with more items donated by generous people. Sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for the final count!

10 P.M.

Mission Drive for smiles 2021 is accomplished! More than 311 000$ raised, driver’s hearts fulfilled and children smiling away.
